Blockbuster filed for bankruptcy a while back and has now put itself up for sale. This isn’t really top of the internet as much as it is ‘everyone on the internet saw this coming in 1999.’ The slow-to-awaken video rental chain, which is now $1 billion in debt, is fielding an offer for $290 million.

Apple has caused waves by launching App Store subscriptions for developers. This allows people to run apps with regular subscription costs, much the same way The Daily, an iPad newspaper-thing, does.

It’s Valentine’s Day, so I guess the internet is just a little silly. Case in point? Today everyone is talking about Androidify. An Android application created by Google that lets you create an image of yourself in the style of the Android robot.

In a world of digital doubt, the Kindle keeps me always keeps me always prepared.
