I’ve honestly been watching Joseph Kent’s being stormed and dragged into a Humvee on repeat.

I can’t stop—it’s just so absurd?

Horrifying?

Farcically dystopian?

But it’s real.

A protestor who was just walking, hands up, was suddenly pounced on by a crowd of police over a fucking curfew violation, shoved into a military vehicle and driven away to God knows where (while CNN went on about how “restrained” things were, mind you).

It happened last night—April 28th, 2015, in a place I’ve even been to before.
