“‘Saying ‘I am offended’ is a way of making someone radioactive; a way of smearing their reputation,’ Weiss told HBO’s Bill Maher, two days after the Times corrected her essay criticizing college protest movements because she had quoted a hoax site.”

So she’s offended that people are offended by her work because she believes that saying you are offended is smearing someone but doesn’t that mean she’s smearing her criticis illigitiamitly, because saying you’re offended is a radioactive smear, but then her own argument is deligitimized no?

Perhaps just she has a ton of privilege and is a hypocrite who believes she should be held to different standards than anyone else? But doesn’t that mean she’s MORE responsible?

Orrrr is this maybe just a bullshit gambit made more hypocritical than it appears because she also ‘defends free speech’ by criticizing ‘PC culture’; made in a place where no one will call her on it? *head spins*

Bari Weiss defended her columns and tweets on Friday.
