– He is super good at this thing called composition. Especially the part where he places something slightly out of focus in the background of a shot and it Means Something.
– Superman is totally edgy now.
– Also, in case he didn’t make it obvious enough with all the backgrounds and dialogue, Superman is Jesus. For reals. Super Jesus. Super American Jesus.
– Zack Snyder hates steady cams. Steady camera shots are for amateurs. Shaky camera shots are the bomb. Even in totally peaceful flashbacks. Which is important, because there are a lot of flashbacks.
Important things the director doesn’t want you to know:
– He stole 75% of the story from a storyline of the Wildstorm Universe’s Mr. Majestic.
