I’m loving that there are plenty of times in Sense8 where a worse show would create conflict by taking agency away from its characters, but instead creates conflict by giving them more agency; except for the one storyline that is explicitly about how terrible it is to remove choice from people. 

In fact, they all seem to be getting empowered by their connections to others not like them, which is pretty cool.
