Nearly Half of Sanders Supporters Won’t Support Clinton
Uhhh.
“You’re choosing between fascism and oligarchy” yeah, ok, even if so, oligarchy is way better than fascism. How much do you want to bet that Perry Mitchell “31-year-old nonprofit worker” has a bucketload of privilege he’s carrying around?
“‘I know Donald Trump is evil, he’s a racist, he’s a misogynist.’ But Clinton, she said, is ‘not for the people. She’s about money.'” Oh well, those are totally equally bad right?
“[A Texas] homemaker planning to vote for Trump. ‘Ugh, this is so hard. I guess an endorsement would probably sway me.'” Really?! Really?! The only thing standing between you and your support of a Donald Trump presidency is Bernie Sanders endorsing Hillary Clinton? What moral system or political beliefs are you voting on here?
I’d be much more understanding of people ‘not voting for Hillary on principle’ if most of them didn’t sound like complete god damn idiots.
Never before have I seen more validation for H. L. Mencken’s quote:
“Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.”
The Vermont senator says he’ll work to defeat Trump, but has yet to endorse the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.
