Tribune Publishing Announces Corporate Rebranding, Changes Name to tronc
Had to double check to make sure this wasn’t The Onion.
That’s “tronc” with a lower case (What?!) and their leading product will be “troncX, our content curation and monetization engine, to combine existing assets with new artificial intelligence (“AI”) technology to accelerate digital growth.” WHAT?!?!?!?! That’s a nonsense sentence.
And their big person who they are announcing to reorganize? He’s a healthcare tech specialist!
