Intel officials told Trump the Russians were behind the election hacks
So Trump had been briefed that Russia was behind the hacks and that the hacks were real before he went on stage; where he denied that the hacks had happened or been done by Russia. Also, the US Intelligence apparatus had released that information to the public 48 hours before the debate.
Also, am I reading this wrong or did someone leak (later to become public in a statement) info out of a presidential briefing to confirm this?
On Sunday, Trump again said he didn’t know if Russia was behind the U.S. election hacks, but U.S. intel officials had already told him so in private.
